Sofía Sarmiento, known professionally as Sofiluts, is a prodigious young artist whose talent belies her age. Born in Argentina and dividing her time between there and the United States, Sofiluts has been creating art since she learned to grab a pencil. Her family and friends treasured her impressive body of work as contemporary art of the highest caliber.
Sofiluts draws inspiration from her frequent travels throughout the United States, Europe, and Argentina, using these experiences to cultivate her artistic vision. Raised in a family of artists, she counts her oldest sister and brother, both accomplished artists, among her inspirations.
Even as a high school student, Sofiluts has been recognized for her exceptional artistic abilities, regularly exhibiting her work and receiving accolades from her peers and instructors. She has also found commercial success, selling her works in the United States.
Sofiluts' artistic repertoire is as varied as impressive, ranging from painting and drawing to textile art and murals. She has even delved into jewelry modeling and joining and collaborating with her mother to create multimedia artworks.
In summary, Sofiluts' self-taught journey has led her to become a truly exceptional artist, recognized and respected by industry leaders such as public art curator Raquel Vallejo @ravaching and muralist Mwanel Pierre-Louis @mwanel1_l
Her natural talent and tireless work ethic have allowed her to collaborate on groundbreaking projects, including Micanopy, Florida's first mural. Sofiluts' inspiring solo works have further cemented her reputation as a rising star in the art world. With her unwavering dedication and visionary creativity, there is no doubt that Sofiluts has a bright future ahead.
Thank you, Sofiluts. I am so proud of you.
